How to release stress anytime. If you’re looking for a way to do that, then you’re in luck. I’m going to tell you exactly how to do this. In the next minute, you’ll know how to relax anytime, anywhere, no matter what’s going on around you, using just one simple technique.
It’s funny how there are so many things to do to reduce stress floating around. It’s almost as stressful just trying to sort through all of the them.
As is the case with most subjects, the simplest things that we often overlook, turn out to be the most effective.
This technique is no different.
So, here’s the one simple stress reducing technique that you can use, right now. You don’t need any special tools to use it. No unique skills are required. Just the commitment to remember to do it consistently, whenever you’re feeling stressed.
Ok, are you ready? The one stress relieving technique that works practically every time is… breathing.
See, I told you it would be simple. Breathing is one of the simplest, and extremely effective, things you can do to release stress, almost instantly. Yet, no one uses it as often as they should.
I’m not talking about the breathing that you’re doing right now, as you’re reading this. I’m talking about consciously taking in deep breaths and consciously letting it out.
One reason why this is so effective is because it takes your mind off of the things that you were stressed out about. It helps you to focus on what is going on NOW. And now is where all of your power is. Now is where your control is.
There are a few variations you can use, but here’s a technique to start with. Do this whenever you’re stressed or overwhelmed.
Stand or sit up straight. Take in a deep breath, focusing on nothing but your breath. Feel the air flowing into your abdomen. Hold for count of 2. Then release the air slowly and completely. As you’re breathing out, imagine that your stresses are leaving your body with the air.
Repeat this process for at least 12 breathes, or more if you feel it necessary.
